Yes I have been faced with a big challenge before. It was just this year when I was trying out for the compitition team, for postlethwait middle school. I made the team with almost perfict score! This is such an honner to be on the squad because I feel like I can actualy concure something in my life.
ReplyDeleteIf I was in Katnisses and Peetas situation I think i would put all of my effert into what i have come to do in my life, Think that this was ment to be and that everything I do my family will be so proud of me no mater what. Also I would say that everything it not going to be the best but that I should keep a smile on my face and hope for the best of it all the way through.
Being placed in hardships are very common in every day life. Getting tougher and tougher the deeper you get involved in it. Not anything specific but to be face to face with constant drama that comes in the plus package of teenage life.
ReplyDeleteOvercomming these tasks of living in this world day after day hour after hour, really its a never evding relm of possiblities everything is open and anything can happen whether good or bad that all depends on which ever choices you make.
Being successfull in life is all ways a possibilities. You just need to be carefull of how and what you do, say or think.
Not everyone is on your side you may be loved by many and that also leaves the amount of people who disslike you or just havent met you yet.
Getting through these times aren't easy and you can never erase them they stick with you FOREVER. But is it possibal to get through them one step at a time.
A difficult challenge is seen in many ways for me a difficult challenge was telling my sister good-bye the morning of her departure to Japan. It was three o'clock in the morning when i was awakened my clock. I didnt really think it would be hard, but when the time came i wasnt ready. I never would have thought that I wpuld miss her as much as I did. But when I saw her leave I wanted to be happy for her but it was hard. All I could do at that time was hold in tears and watch her go.
ReplyDeleteAs for Katniss and Peeta my heart goes out to them. They are taking the games seriously and reacting very well to there surroundings. If that were me I would definetly take it a lot harder. They are brave for overcoming this competion
Well,one time I got stung by a bee in forth grade it hurt really bad.I had got stung and it got really bad swelled up.I had to go to the doctor's and...Come to find out im allergic to Bee's,wasp,hornets ect...So now thats my bigest fear. And that was a big diffcult problem for me!

My greatest challenge ever was a soccer game aginst adults.I had to verse my dad and his freinds for a big, golden trophy.Of course I had team members to face this great challenge with me because I'm no match for a whole team of well trained adults.To conquer the hardships of this game training was the only answer.With the help of training I successfuly conquered this challenge and my team and I had defeated the adults with a score of 2-1.I would handle the situation Peeta AND Katniss have been faced with by pre paring ahead of time.With pre paring ahead of time the challenge that they soon would face wouldn't be stressful.If Peeta and Katniss trained ahead of time for the Hunger Games most likely they could win.You have to practice and train hard to succeed

They always threaten that they will take it away even longer than the last time , sometimes I feel i will never get it back. . . .
ReplyDeleteWhen I was faced with a difficult chalange First I calm myself down to keep from stress from overriding me then I Identify the easy ways of getting through it. For example: When I was riding Shawnee ( My horse ) I had to do my Trail ride at night I never did before Ideas Rushed through my head like '' Will I fall off shawnee? '' OR '' Will I get lost? '' Well I listed a couple things and one of them was riding with Friends and bringing a Flashlight. Then after the Trail ride I felt more safe to go on a Trail ride at night! Sometimes Situations can be Fixed quite well.
ReplyDeleteMy chanllenge was when we were the losing team and our opponets were the red team, who beat us 6-1.It was 0-0 when i wasn the left and crack a shot at goal and the ball was in the back of the net.We held the lead and won 1-0.I was successful because we finally won a game and my strong left foot swung like a hammer.So I would handle katniss and Peeta situation is try to find a wepon you like to use and have it in battle.
ReplyDeleteA couple weeks ago, I was faced with a difficult challenge. My challenge was that my absolute best friend, wasn't talking to me for a few weeks because I stop going over her house, because I got into trouble for not doing my chores. It was taking the wrong way, so then she was saying rude things about me to her sister , who is my moms bestfriend. told my mother when I was in the room, and I was very upset. So I asked her about it, and she said it was true.Then after that she and I talked about the situation and agreed to become friends again bc of the long lasting friendship we had going on years now! The problem with Peeta, and Katniss is kinda emtreamly difficult because peeta anounced that he was in love with katniss. I would handle this by saying that since we are about to go in to the areana, that we cant not have feeling for eachother, because either way one of us is going to die, or kill on another.
ReplyDeletemy challang was not going to Floird after the snow storm last year it snowed all the air travel well my older sisster took the bus because the marching band was playing in the prade but well I was going to miss school and think of all my friend in school while i was riding roller coster but in stead I was stoke home with ever body else in the state of delware. but that is nothing compared to what peeta and katniss have to go throw by getting dolled up then trown in a area and fight till death while people laugh and whach them sufer I could not haldel it fighting till death is not the way I want to die. but I did get over after going to bush garden on spring break with my best friend!
ReplyDeleteAbout a year ago, I went to china, with my family. It was the biggest change of my life for 2 weeks! The time change was the hardest, because when it is night time in china it is day time in america! The population was also a change because you coulden't get through the city with out being stuck in people traffic. Plus I had to stay close to my parents, because some times the chinese take you and use you as thier maids! i over came my hardships because as the days went on i started getting used to all of the changes! But the best thing about China is that the chinese treat you like royalty. Everywhere I went they would want your picture! I was succesful in over coming my challenges because I just stayed close to my family! I would handel this situation because I would win the honger games so I could come back to my family.
ReplyDeleteA difficut challenge for me is when my Aunt die in a car accident and she was going to work and she was about to be late and she turned the corner to fast and she didn't have hre glasses so she couldn't really see cause it was foggy outside and the car flipped and brook her neck... It was hard for me cause she was my favorit aunt so it's was very hard for me
ReplyDeleteIn the Year 2008 , I had to make a Diffucult Desion. The two chocies I had was etheir to go to ORLANDO , FL ,or OSHKOSH , WI , and I choose OSHKOSH because it was on a church convention. It was a chance for me to view a part of the worl that i have never ever seen before ! When the plane landed in Milwaukee ,WI i EXITED the plane and Walked in it was Bueitifull !

ReplyDeleteThe challenge that effected my life the most is my best friend leaving me. We were so close.You can say we was,still are sisters. When she told me she was going back to baltimore that hurt me. I didnt want to talk to her or any one else. I went to class in tears. It felt as if she was just coming in my life and using my friendship. Taking it for grated,as if she knew when she met me she was just going to up and leave me one day and everything was going to be ok. As days go on i try not to say or talk to her just cause i dont want to get anymore closer to her cause when she leave i dont want to cry. But i relized that hurted her as much as it hurted me. she didnt want to leave it was all her mom decision. She didnt have a say in any thing. I told her why i was mad and upset with her and she told me what actually why shes leaving and i apologized to her. We made up and everthings back to normal and when she leaves we will keep in touch through facebook,mayspace,twitter,and fone calls and text messages. I will miss her so much..i love you best friend for life!
Yes I have been faced with a difficult desision. it was when I wanted to join a travel baseball team and I had to try out in front of the whole team. after the ttry out I was happy with my skills and later the coach said I had made the team.
ReplyDeleteIf I was chosen for the hunger games I would be very mad but I wouldnt throw a fit. I would start training right away since we dont have a choice. once the games began I would try to stay as strong as possible so no one will think I am weak.

ReplyDeleteMy challenge in my life was to choose who i wanted to live with. My mom or my dad. I said i dont know. I had to wait a couple months before i got the answer. The judge gave out a letter and it said "Mason will live with Trent Colins."
ReplyDeleteA challenge I have been through is having to leave my middle school and go back to my old school.I became upset when in found out i had to leave because i did'nt want to leave my best friend for life always jazmin,jowelle,and jainicqua .They are sisters to me and that news mad me upset.I felt like I was going to have to face a challenge on leaving my friends the day I leave.Then at the same time I received that news around christmas , so I was thinkin that wow that was a great christmas gift.no I did not succeed because I still dont know how to get through this situation without thinkin about my friens and how they feel.I would just make sure I do good in school next time so I won't have to leave the bestest realist friends in the world.If I was katniss and peeta I would just do the best I can so that I can survive . I would just remember that I can survive as long as I try.
ReplyDeleteOne of the challenges I faced is choosing to come to Dover or Charlotte when the Air Force stationed us somewhere else in 2009. I overcame my challenge when i realized that Dover was closer to my cousins which i do not get to see often. So obviously, i chose Dover instead of Charlotte.
ReplyDeleteA challenge I have faced is my fear of heights. It started when I was 5. It wasn't as bad as it could have been since I lived in the mountains. I had almost gotten over it by 2nd grade, however, it kicked back in a year or two back when I was hicking on a mountan. Or mabye that was alltitude sickness. I feel that I have over come it but I can't test it in Delaware. It's to flat.

The thing was that it wasnt even our fault so yea. But the good thing was everyone was okay. I think I would haddle Katniss and Peetas sitiution by just listening to what people tell me to do and just keep to myself so in wouldnt cause any trouble.

ReplyDeleteOne of my greatest challenges was reading. Read does not appeal to me as much as tv. Reading is very hard for me because need a little more then just looking at words. When i read I go over the words and I don't really understand the story. Th only book that I found interesting was the Hunger games because it kept me wanting to read more.
ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games is the BEST book I ever read!! I can not wait to read the second book and third book. I think Peeta and Katniss are doing the right thing. They should keep doing what they are doing. Katniss is using all the resoruces and Peeta is helping protect. I think they doing great handling the challenge they are faced with!! :)

ReplyDeleteI agree I was also afraid of riding on an airplane, Travis.But I had gotten over the fear of heights when I was four because every summer I would go to JFK (an airport in New York)and get on an airplane to go visit my grandparents.Riding an airplane is not all that bad, besides the food, the entertainment is great.You get to watch movies the whole time you're on the plane.Also you get to listen to music of any genre you'd like.Don't worry Travis you'll get use to riding airplanes and won't be afraid of heights anymore.
